One-Eye! Two Eyes! Three Eyes!by: Aaron Shepard
Eyeballs!
Story Summary:
Two Eyes is different from her sisters, One Eye and Three Eyes. She is different, because she has two eyes. She is treated like Cinderella.
Then, one day a prince appears.
Learning Objective:
The students will be able to distinguish between odd and even numbers.
Materials:
sheet of eyeballs (see sample below)
sheet of character faces (see sample below)
glue sticks
scissors
Procedure:
Read the story and discuss how Two-Eyes had two very odd-ball sisters. Teach the concept of odd and even numbers. Let the students put eyeballs on the characters. Then, they must share their pictures and tell if they have an odd or even number of eyes
on their characters.
